We are Renée and Maaike from Oud-Beijerland, a small town not far from Rotterdam the Netherlands. We are married and have 1 English bulldog.
Our passion for Norway started in 2003. During our first trip to this beautiful country, we stayed at Måsåplassen – Friisvegen. Our dream of living and working in Norway was born. The peace, space and nature are what attracts and inspires us.
Many holidays, more than 10 times, followed to this spectacular country. And the idea of moving to Norway always remained. We were just waiting for the right opportunity.
And then in 2021 came this opportunity to run this magnificent place Måsåplassen – Friisvegen. After a period with a lot of preparations and planning, we started the 1st of November 2021.
