After five years, our time as the operators of Friisvegen Måsåplassen Mountain Lodge will come to an end on 1 November 2026.
We would like to thank all our guests and partners for their visits, trust and support throughout these years.
From 1 November 2026, the operation of Måsåplassen will be taken over by Friisvegen Måsåplassen Hyttegrend AS. From that date, Maaike and Renée Baars will no longer be responsible for the operation.
Information for stays from 1 November
The following information has been provided by Friisvegen Måsåplassen Hyttegrend AS:
- Cabin and room rentals will continue.
- The caravan and camping area will remain in operation.
- The café will not be open between 1 November and 15 December 2026. The intention is to open during the Christmas and New Year period.
- Opening hours and the availability of meals, catering and other services should be confirmed directly with Friisvegen Måsåplassen Hyttegrend AS.

Nature of Friisvegen – Ringebufjellet
Many opportunities for hiking & cycling. in the winter, there are over 200 km of marked and groomed trails in forest and high mountain terrain. In summer, the area provides a rich network of trails in varied terrain. The trail network is connected to DNT’s – Troll Track from Rondane to Lillehammer.
Friisvegen starts in the center of Ringebu, and is the shortest connection between Gudbrandsdalen and Østerdalen
